Christian Counseling

Praying

Our feelings help us to know that something we are experiencing is affecting us deeply.

However, our feelings do not have to determine the course of our lives, our relationships, or our dreams.

As a believer, healing is yours to have. The Bible tells us that Christ feels what we are feeling. His abundant grace and unconditional love is there for you no matter the circumstances.

C.S. Lewis once said, “Mental pain is less dramatic than physical pain, but it is more common and also harder to bear. The frequent attempt to conceal mental pain increases the burden: it is easier to say, ‘My tooth is aching’ than to say ‘My heart is broken. ’” (November 29, 1898-November 22, 1963), novelist, poet, and theologian.

Mental Health issues affect everyone…pastors, church workers, mothers, fathers, children, the elderly….the list goes on and on. A crisis of faith sometimes partners with a mental health crisis that sometimes creates a perfect storm of despair and confusion.

But the good news is that there is help for everyone who chooses to take the first step to healing. As a Christian, a minister, and a licensed mental health professional I can help you to navigate through your circumstances to a place of healing, restoration, and peace. God sees and feels your pain and does not want you to remain in it.

Counseling provides safety, restoration, a non-judgmental environment, and the tools to deepen your relationship with God and lift the burdens that have become too heavy for you to bear. If you are ready for a paradigm shift in your life and faith, let’s start your journey of healing today.
