There was always a part of me that knew I was called to the helping profession.

Watching those around me in their daily struggles that sometimes turned into lifelong struggles furthered my call to ministry and to counseling. I believe in healing that transforms your spirit, your emotions, you mind, and your body.

I work with my clients to understand their experiences and the impact of uncoupling from the path they have committed to that isn't working. Through the counseling experience, I effectively work with my clients to offer a safe and welcoming environment as a means to achieving authentic change.

Therapy does not have to be boring or scary. Therapy can be challenging as it beckons you to a space to be authentic, open to change, and to navigate through some difficult aspects of life. Clients are encouraged to be themselves.

In therapy I may use storytelling, humor, or engaging activities that work to create a comfortable environment, much like sitting in the company of a trusted friend. The strength based approach to therapy is uniquely suited to the needs of each client based on their individual strengths, hopes, beliefs, and needs.

I am acquainted with a variety of treatment techniques. I find that many clients benefit from unique approaches to intervention that are tailored to the needs of each person.

While actively participating in therapy many clients have described me as a warm, highly skilled, insightful therapist, who engages her clients with knowledge, empathy, integrity, wisdom, and  unique understanding.
